Tandem Club - South East England - Cycle Clothing

Since 2005 the Tandem Club - South East England cycling jersey has been adopted by South East London, Surrey & Sussex and Kent Regions.  The design depicts on the front: Tower Bridge (London), Beachy Head Lighthouse (East Sussex) in front of White Cliffs, Brighton Pavilion (East Sussex) and St Stephen's Tower (it houses Big Ben in London) and on the back: Tandemists riding across a map of South East England (from Margate in the east to Guildford in the west) together with pictures of Oast Houses (Kent), Tower Bridge (London) and the Jill Windmill (West Sussex).  One sleeve has a British Union flag and the other the English St George's flag.  The collar bears the legend "Twice the Fun".  The side panels bear the words "Tandem Club".

Endura print and make our clothing and we have recently received the Endura Custom Clothing 2010 catalogue.  From it we have selected the garments listed below and have included their full garment description to enable you to make an informed choice if you would like to place an order with us.  Unfortunately delivery will be after the 1st January 2010 which is when VAT goes back up to 17.5%.

New this year is a limited “Women’s Specific” range with a fitted women’s cut.  Both unisex and Women’s Road Jerseys are now made from fast drying CoolMax fabric for increased comfort and performance.

Note:  Neville and I organize this clothing as a service to the group on a strictly non-profit making basis.

Note: The road jerseys are designed for a close fit. If you don't want a close fit, order 1 size larger than you may expect.

Sizes are based on standard male sizes.  Most garments are unisex due to the high stretch and accommodation of the fabrics.  A limited range of “Women’s Specific” fit items is now offered.  Measurements shown below are a rough guide only.

Unisex Sizes:-

Adults: Size XS (old 2) 34-35” chest,  Size S (old 3) 36-38” chest,  Size M (old 4) 39-41” chest,

Size L (old 5) 42-44” chest,  Size XL (old 6) 45-47” chest,  Size XXL (old 7) 48-50” chest

Children:  Age 5 28-30" chest,  Ages 6-8 32" chest,  Ages 9-11 35" chest

Shorts Sizes:-

Adults: Size XS (old 2) 28-29” waist,  Size S (old 3) 30-32” waist,  Size M (old 4) 33-35” waist,

Size L (old 5) 36-38” waist,  Size XL (old 6) 39-41” waist,  Size XXL (old 7) 42-44” waist

Children:  Age 5,  Ages 6-8,  Ages 9-11 – sizes are comparable to chest sizes shown above but actual waist

Armwarmers Sizes:-  S(very small), M, L

Women’s Specific Sizes:-

Size XS(8/10) 32-33” chest,  Size S(10/12) 34-35” chest,  Size M(12/14) 36-37” chest,

Sizes XXS and XXXL garments can be made on request with a 15% surcharge.  Reasonable modification can be made to most garments (eg lengthening or shortening) at a 15% surcharge.

Gilet – lightweight wind cheater made from Vapour fabric – extremely lightweight, fast drying and showerproof - which is compact enough to be folded away and stored in your jersey when not required.  Lightweight stretch back mesh panel for ease of movement and bound armholes (black binding) for reduced irritation (sleeveless with full zip and 3 rear pockets).  New Women’s Specific, with a fitted women’s cut, is available  – please state WS on order.	£39
Windtex Jacket – made from waterproof/windproof breathable membrane fabric. Perfect for severe winter conditions. Thick brushed back inner for maximum insulation in very low temperatures (full zip and 3-compartment rear pocket).	£58

Shorts – in “8-panel” construction with seamless inside leg. Made from quality Lycra with Dolomiti 600 series multi-density stretch Silver Dry antibacterial pad (super soft wicking microfibre fabric next to skin reduces chafing and friction & provides efficient moisture management & hygiene) and silicone leg grippers.  New Women’s Specific is available with women’s 600 series pad – please state WS on order. NB: Shorts design now feature “wrap around” panels where the printed panel wraps around the lower leg of the shorts towards the front of the thigh (in our case this will mean more yellow on the shorts).	£43
